Know YOUR Worth

I often hear people say: Know your worth; but for me, this saying a lot without having much to say at all.
I get exactly what people are saying, but someone out there does not understand what it means to know your worth. With that said, let me share my thoughts with you.

To know one’s worth is about understanding exactly what you deserve out of life, and what has already been promised to you. (God is the Promise) Women are always talking about how good men are hard to find but they allow themselves to be chosen by everything but a good man. Meaning they will settle for less because he may have potential to be what they *think he should be. (Side note: Johnny looks okay, we can clean him up, groom him to be the man that I am seeking)
Bible: Proverbs 18:22

Some women will accept a married man and continue to date and go on extravagant vacations with him to validate a point. What point? The point in saying "I have a man" and "I am worthy" of these material things and worthy enough to have him. What about the wife?  If he does this to her, he very well would do it to you. (Are you still worthy? Do you still know your worth?) And one never knows what the wife has endured. I do not care what his excuse is for stepping out on his wife, you should know you deserve better. (Know YOUR Worth)

I know women who will put their lives on hold to spend their time, gas, and money going to visit boyfriends in jail / prison with the hope for parole. Are you kidding me? How does one find this worthy? Now there is nothing wrong with that if you know in your heart of hearts that he would do the same for you, but the sad story is these women know that if the tables were turned they would not get that same dedication and unconditional love. Most women would be sitting in jail angry as hell wondering why their “man” hasn’t called or paid them a visit.

So my question is how does one know their worth?
Ladies, do you really know your worth? Are you worthy of your own man or husband? Are you worthy of a great lifestyle? Do you first treat yourself with royalty before you expect the next person to do so?

What are you worth?

Welcome

Welcome to "This Cup of Joe"

We decided to do a blog to add a little more flair to what we already have going. I originally deleted this blog because of all the foolishness that was taking place "back then". Little did I know this was my ticket to connect to the Universe!

This will be a place for everything and everybody.
A little bit of Faith, Family, Fashion, Food, Fun and Friendships. Of course not all in that order.
